I have so much to share that my newsletter is starting to feel like not enough, so coming soon is a video/audio format. And so many stories that deserve to be told. What I have realized in the last two years is that my life is a treasure trove of experiences and people because of real estate.

In the last 30 days, I have been fortunate enough to see real estate with my clients between the super concise price point of $20,000 and $2 million, I have shown a car wash, a house filled with mold, the most stunning home of my career and a bunch of homes no one who loves HGTV would probably care about at all. But they all matter and those stories need to be told.

The unique truth my life has laid bare recently is that I am a SME. (subject matter expert) A true SME. A haughty, super qualified SME. Adam rightfully and delightfully makes fun of me all the time for this and I can understand his amusement as I was indignant from any corner of my CV: Professional fisherwoman, economist, public health expert, distribution and logistics director, senior home loan consultant, ISU extension economist, private economic consultant. It sounds made up but these experiences are why you trust me to be your realtor.

This gives me the privilege to learn from you all every day. This is the gift I want to share with everyone, what I learn from you. So stay tuned.

The late summer slowdown we normally experience this time of year seems to be cancelled. The market is still busy despite the election and mixed economic news. Just a reminder if you haven’t, this is a good time for you to get your HVAC serviced, have your roof inspected and get your fall landscaping plans made.
